Curiosity Literacy

Curiosity Literacy designs custom English Language acquisition classroom materials for adults. It can be a challenge to find quality materials for adult ESL classes. Adult education teachers often spend a lot of time creating, editing, and supplementing their classroom materials, because most ESL materials…

  • are designed for children

  • are not trauma-informed

  • do not include appropriate real-life content and contextualization for adults and their specific goals

  • are not designed for online teaching

Curiosity Literacy provides materials that are fun, engaging, and motivating for adult learners that also provide contextualized instruction in the areas of workforce preparation, citizenship, family literacy, health literacy, and community-building. Our materials can stand alone or can be combined to create a complete unit - as the exercises follow along with a colorful cast of characters in a fictional town, that your students will become familiar with and invested in! Additionally, all materials are available with the following variations:

  • instant digital downloads of materials in PDF form, best for printing and in-class teaching

  • instant digital downloads of materials in fillable PDF form, appropriate for online teaching

  • color printed, fully prepared, and mailed

  • instant editable download, so teachers can personalize the materials for their specific program

  • materials customized by Curiosity Literacy specifically for your program after a one-on-one consult. These options apply to worksheets, games, entire units, and even training/professional development for instructors.

Please check our blog and shop to find some free materials and materials for purchase or email us if you are interested in purchasing a custom unit or curriculum.
